We rescue mostly senior and special needs dogs from high kill shelters, get them vetted immediately, rehabilitated, and placed into loving foster homes until a forever home can be found. Many animals that come to us have had years of neglect and need major medical attention, including surgeries. Many of them have also been abused so we work with those animals to get them to trust humans again. We pay for all medical care, food and supplies while in our foster care program. We believe all animals young or old deserve a second chance and it?s been our experience that with proper medical care and tons of TLC most of these animals tend to thrive and live for a good many more years.

We rescue and re-home small breed dogs. Since August 2009 we have saved and found homes for over a hundred dogs from high-kill shelters in Southern California. We network with rescues in LA and fly the dogs to Victoria to be adopted into forever homes.

Jason & Janet Shulenberger started Nebraska Poodle Rescue. We are a rescue group created to assist Poodles across Nebraska that is in need of a new home. We are all volunteers and nonprofit.

I want to thank everyone who has been a support to my rescue and adopted many wonderful dogs from our rescue in the past 6 years. However, at this time we are no longer doing rescue. I have kept our organization listed so that anyone who wants to contact me to surrender a dog from either a private citizen or a shelter can still contact me. I have a wonderful friend and fellow rescuer who I work with concerning this issue. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you want to surrender a dog.

Picket Fence Poodle Rescue and Re-Home is not a Shelter, but a breed specific, home / family, foster care environment managed by volunteers. We enjoy meeting with families interested in adopting one of our Poodles.? However, everyone must understand that because we are NOT a Shelter, we do require an ?Application For Adoption? to be filled out first. As with most all Rescue Groups, our time is precious and our safety is important.

ALL Creatures Matter Rescue is here to help small breed dogs in need and ensure they get the care they deserve and are placed with loving families. I am very concerned about the welfare of these animals; therefore, an application and references will be required for adoption. All pets will have a non-refundable adoption fee and will be fully vetted. They will be spayed or neutered before leaving the rescue. We don’t want to contribute to the pet over-population and to the killing of innocent animals. ACM exists to save the lives of animals in need and depends upon donations, adoptions, and volunteers to exist.

We rescue, vet and transport Southern Kill Shelter Dogs to the Northeast and specialize in Fuzzy Dogs, Poodle Mixes and Terriers. We foster in our own homes and find the best Forever Homes for them. We work as a “Collective” to list, interview, socialize, vet, transport and feed our beautiful dogs. Our adopters become part of our family and we love seeing update pictures and hearing how our dogs are faring. We believe we cannot save them all but we can do our part to save as many as we can.

All Terrier Rescue was founded and incorporated in 1991. Jeri and Samantha Miller the owners of the rescue started out by having a wonderful Scottish Terrier named Tessa. Tessa helped them join the Terrier Association, National Scottie Rescue and several other breed related clubs. In 1990 the Miller’s started fostering for the Oregon Humane Society and shortly there after All Terrier Rescue was born.

Little Dog Rescue is primarily a Maltese Rescue, a Poodle Rescue and a Yorkie Rescue ( although we do take other breeds and mixes), located in Orange County, CA. Although we consider ourselves a  classic “Mom and Pop” operation, the government classifies us as a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization. We are proudly listed in Guidestar, the national database of non-profit organizations . We are a retired couple who, after 10 years of raising Guide Dogs for the visually impaired, have decided to rescue small dogs instead.  We love dogs and we love to see them enhance a life. Our goals are two-fold.  First, we want to save shelter dogs and secondly, we want your life to be improved by matching a wonderful dog to a safe, loving and caring family. No one should have to live without a furry little friend, when there are so many of these little munchkins needing loving homes.
